Ice Play

It's crazy how long the summer weather has lasted this year. I mean, it's not unusual to have unseasonably warm days in October - an "Indian summer", if you will. But the sheer intensity - stretches of ninety degree days! It doesn't just feel like a warm autumn day (those are the best kind), it feels like mid-July! Anyway, I think it's great. I love the heat. But I've told you that before. And what better way to cool down than with a block of ice from the freezer, melted on pavement that might just be hot enough to fry eggs? Sorry for the noise - the neighbor was mowing his lawn just on the other side of the fence. -_^
