Sexy Clothes

I swear, it's not even spring yet (although we have been having some unseasonably warm weather lately), and I'm already hearing people complaining about how short girls' shorts are these days. Meanwhile, I'm thinking to myself, "just shut up and enjoy the view!" Seriously, this sexual repression bullshit has gone far enough. What's the point of being inundated with "porn culture" if a girl can't wear clothes that flatter her assets in public without being criticized by some neo-puritan dipwad? Are people really so whipped by their morally conservative overlords that they'll treat with utter contempt any reminder that they, too, once entered this life by crawling through a vagina? Do they really think that expressing their insensitive belief that showing skin is "skanky" makes them seem like a respectable individual? Who are they trying to impress? God? (He's not listening). Their pastors? The feminists?

Anyway, it inspired me to make another one of my little comics using eLouai figures:

  1. It's some kind of twisted misogyny. They want girls to be sluts but they also want to crucify them for being sluts... so, yeah, basically "suck my dick and then go kill yourself, you bitch."

I'm also FURIOUS about the Kim Kardashian situation. I don't know what the fuck a Kardashian is, I've never followed anything they've ever done, and if Kim K. walked up to me on the street today and strangled me, I wouldn't be able to tell the cops who did it because I don't know her from a hole in the ground. But everyone jumping on Kim for posting a nude photo? What the fuck is wrong with you people? It's her goddamn body to do with as she pleases! So are women allowed to be empowered or not, make up your mind! And don't even get me started on how insulting it is that there's as much outrage over someone CHOOSING to post THEIR OWN naked photos as their is when celebrities' nude photos are stolen and posted against their will.

  2. Don't even get me started! I've had to put up with that bullshit as regards people's self-righteous opinions on Miley Cyrus' lifestyle choices ever since she entered her rebellious teenage phase. Dunno how this Kardashian is reacting, but one of the reasons I respect Miley Cyrus so highly is that she's one of the few celebrities I've ever encountered that's backed up her decisions and not kowtowed to mainstream criticism. Miley, you're such a beautiful girl. Mother Earth needs more like you.
