No, I don't mind that your reaction is both artistic and sexual - that's kind of the point! -_^ I like that you have an artistic appreciation for my art, because I've always wanted to be appreciated on a deeper level than just the sexual. But at the same time, I've always been turned off by the stuffy attitudes of people who think that there's something wrong with having a sexual reaction to an image, and that that makes it not art.
I can honestly say that it wasn't on my agenda to use my feminine wiles (lol) to get men to warm up to male nudes (although it's probably happened more than once), though in hindsight I consider that to be a good thing. It's just been one long adventure, and I've been learning along the way as much as any of my fans.

In terms of getting recognition, I think I'm my own worst enemy. Not to get all psychoanalytic, but I'm highly sensitive, and my anxiety leads me to avoid opportunities where people might have a chance to be exposed to what I can do (for fear of rejection).
And while I believe it comes primarily from a desire to be radically honest and radically expressive, I sometimes wonder if some of my interests (e.g., nudism, erotic art, gender-bending) serve as an excuse for me to remain insulated from the mainstream social order.
It's hard to get fine art establishments to recognize you, for example, when you refuse to pay lip service to the industry standard of debasing sexually explicit images as pornography... (And it's hard to get literary establishments to recognize you when you insist on illustrating your writing with said "pornography")...
